About Meg

The Full Story

Meg Underwood (BSED Indiana University-Bloomington; M.S.E.D. Indiana University Fort Wayne) is a career consultant specializing in career transitions, internships and entry level roles, and college search advising.
Her interests include

  • academic transitions

  • diversity & inclusion

  • global perspectives on parenting

  • ​and helping people become more well-rounded, flexible life-long learners​

Meg has been an educator, mentor, and career coach for 15+ years working in high schools, universities, non-profits, committees for national organizations, and sororities. She has been a mentor, orientation leader, conversation partner, French teacher, alternative school director, study abroad advisor, academic advisor, international admissions recruiter and advisor, admissions rep, career counselor, professional development director, coffee barista, mission advancement/development director, and many other roles - but in each job her favorite question are - What's your plan? What's your story? How Can I help?

She also is active in the Northeast Indiana as a board member with YLNI - Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana, a table leader with a local MomCo Group, Leadership Fort Wayne grad, intern on Greater FortWayne Inc. Board, GFW Inc. Women’s Network, and enjoys volunteering through professional development activities with various organizations such as Questa Foundation, Fort Wayne Community Schools, and others. In her free time she likes to spend time with her friends & family, read, travel, and is a Fort Wayne Foodie @forkwayne.
